Vehicle Rights Guide is an independent information project. It links to official government sources about vehicle lemon laws, warranties, repairs and records, and shows the date each was last checked. It is not a law firm, is not affiliated with any agency, manufacturer, dealer or law firm, and does not give legal advice or refer you to specific lawyers.
How facts get on the site
- Each rule or number comes from an official page we read, and the link is next to it.
- If we have not read an official page for a state, the state page says so instead of guessing.
- Pages carry a last-checked date. Things change; always confirm on the official page.
- Industry or commercial sources (such as BBB National Programs) are labeled as such.
Corrections and removal requests
We work to keep every page accurate. If you spot an error, an outdated detail, or information about you that you want corrected or removed, email [email protected] with the page link and what needs fixing.
How we handle it:
- We review every correction or removal request within 7 days.
- If something is wrong, we fix it or remove it.
- When we correct a page, we add a note at the bottom with the date of the correction.
- If we decide no change is needed, we reply and explain why.
